Motorlease has been in the fleet leasing business for more than 60 years, specializing in fleet management solutions. Founded in 1946 and headquartered in Farmington, CT, we are one of the oldest, largest, and most respected independent leasing companies in the country. Motorlease pioneered the concept of fleet management outsourcing, and we continue to lead the industry today.

It has been our experience that, to be effective in the fleet management arena, we need to ensure our own people have control over as much of the process as possible. Therefore, all of our management programs are administered by Motorlease employees — consequently you can be assured when you call Motorlease, you speak to an actual Motorlease employee.

Our business is the small to mid-size fleet. We’re not in this business because it is an interesting adjunct to the large fleet business. We work with small to mid-size fleets because they are our only business. We’ve spent many years developing the programs needed to meet the needs of the small fleet users, which are often fundamentally different from those of a large fleet operator.
